The Guest Relations Officer is responsible for overseeing the overall management and smooth operation of the hotel. This role ensures that all departments work in harmony to deliver exceptional guest experiences, maintain operational standards, and uphold the reputation of the property.
Key Responsibilities
- Operational Management: Oversee the daily operations of the hotel to ensure efficiency and guest satisfaction.
- Department Coordination: Monitor and facilitate effective communication and collaboration between all departments for seamless service delivery.
- Facility Readiness: Ensure that the premises are maintained in optimal condition, aligned with the hotel’s category and standards, ready to welcome and serve guests.
- Communication: Maintain constant and clear communication with management and staff to ensure proper functioning of the organization.
- Performance Feedback: Provide timely, constructive feedback to direct reports, both formally and informally, to encourage professional growth and maintain service excellence.
- Additional Duties: Perform any other tasks or responsibilities assigned by management to support hotel operations.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management or related field (preferred).
- Proven experience in guest relations, front office, or hotel operations.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to manage cross-departmental coordination.
- Excellent communication skills in English; knowledge of Thai or other languages is an advantage.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and resolve guest concerns effectively.
- High attention to detail and commitment to maintaining service standards.
