Interior Designer – Long-Term Project (Koh Samui)

Job Overview

A leading design company in Koh Samui is seeking a talented and detail-oriented Interior Designer to join our team for a long-term project. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing creative design concepts, managing project execution, and ensuring that interiors meet both aesthetic and functional requirements. This role requires strong design skills, project management capabilities, and the ability to collaborate effectively with clients, contractors, and team members.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop innovative interior design concepts aligned with client requirements and project objectives
• Prepare detailed drawings, layouts, and 3D visualizations to communicate design ideas
• Select materials, finishes, furniture, and décor to achieve desired aesthetics and functionality
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure design integrity during construction
• Conduct site visits to monitor progress and ensure adherence to design specifications
• Manage timelines, budgets, and resources for long-term projects
• Present design proposals and updates to clients in a professional manner
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, building codes, and company policies
• Provide guidance and support to junior designers and project staff

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field
• Minimum 3–5 years of professional experience in interior design, preferably with long-term projects
• Strong portfolio showcasing residential, commercial, or hospitality design work
• Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3D Max, or similar tools
• Excellent project management and organizational skills
• Strong communication and presentation abilities
• Creative, detail-oriented, and able to balance aesthetics with functionality
• Fluent in English; knowledge of Thai is an advantage
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
